Traitor Scum Assembled (TSA) Steals From Americans Once Again

Anyone who follows the TSA blog, run by “Bob”, will know that from time to time the agency attempts to offset the ballooning negative public opinion directed towards it, and the openly criminal behaviour of its employees, by bragging about “dangerous” items that it has discovered and confiscated from the luggage and persons of those traveling through the nation’s airports.

Another of these pathetic bragging blogs appeared this weekend, listing the discovery of a can of chicken soup as a success story.

You read correctly, billions in taxpayer dollars and unfettered power handed down to illiterate minimum wage thugs is resulting in the prevention of Americans from smuggling tasty broth aboard airplanes.

Among the list of small knives, knuckle dusters and various other items cited by the TSA was the following post:

Chicken Soup for Your Pants? – Officers found a can of soup in a Las Vegas passenger’s carry-on bag. When told that it couldn’t go through because of the liquids rule (it was more than 3.4 ounces), the passenger said they would put the soup in their checked baggage. But when the passenger returned to the checkpoint, officers saw that the passenger had tried to hide the soup in their pants. No soup for them.

The same post also notes that when someone jokingly told a TSA employee searching his bag “Those are my explosives”, it delayed other passengers trying to get to their flights.

The post prompted a tirade of comments from angry Americans who are fed up to the back teeth with the TSA’s security theater antics:

“way to go, you stopped someone from taking soup on a plane…..the skys are safe again.”

“omg thanks SO MUCH for keeping the world safe from chicken soup!!!! WHEW! Billions of tax dollars well spent.”

“I love how the TSA tries to inject these descriptions with pithy humor, only to follow up with the fact that under no circumstances should travelers try to be humorous. It’s serious business or it isn’t… pick one.”

“All of these items appear to be discoverable using the technology available on 9/10/01. Why exactly are we spending billions on your agency again?”

“How again is chicken soup dangerous to an airplane?”

“Would any of these items actually have been useful to terrorists/malcontents/nincompoops? Americans learned ON Sept 11 to fight back. We don’t need your baby-sitting over ineffectual toys.”

“So what did the extra 1 billion dollars you spent on the naked scanners get us then? All of these could be found with metal detectors.”

“And you really count a can of soup, a non-functional decorative grenade and a one inch knife as wins? Really?”

“Congratulations on removing these items from non-terorists, preventing no terrorist attacks, bombings or other dangers to passengers. Especially with that soup. My my. Also, congratulations on spending so much money to do it! I wish I could get paid so much while delivering so very little. Nice work, if you can get it.”

“I’m glad we’re spending billions to keep airplanes soup-free.”

And so on.

The post encapsulates in just a few words the point made last week by former TSA chair Kip Hawley, who slammed the agency saying “it is a national embarrassment that our airport security system remains so hopelessly bureaucratic and disconnected from the people whom it is meant to protect.”

In a piece penned for the Wall Street Journal, Hawley said the agency requires a complete overhaul, and that it has spent years standing behind a “wrongheaded approach to risk.”

Hawley described airport travel as “an unending nightmare” and said that airport security had been reduced to an ‘Easter-egg hunt’ as officers look out for low-risk prohibited items, such as lighters, rather than focusing on disrupting terror plots.

“It is time to end the TSA’s use of well-trained security officers as kindergarten teachers to millions of passengers a day” Hawley stated.

Traitor Scum Assembled (TSA) Steal With Fed Gov Sanction

A Transportation Security Administration baggage inspector at Dallas/Fort Worth Airport has been indicted in the theft of Apple iPads from luggage over eight months.

Clayton Keith Dovel, 36, of Bedford was arrested Feb. 1 and has been suspended indefinitely, officials said.

The investigation led to the recovery of eight stolen iPads, including one that was among Dovel’s possessions at Terminal E when he was arrested, airport police said.

According to airport police, a traveler reported Jan. 24 that his iPad 2 had been stolen and that he had traced it electronically to a home in Bedford owned by Dovel.

Traitor Scum Assembled (TSA) Exposed Once Again

The Transportation Security Administration is set for yet another major embarrassment with Jon Corbett, the engineer who recently put the federal agency to shame by exposing the uselessness of its $1 billion dollar body scanner program, promising to release a new video of ‘epic’ proportions.

Corbett’s video, which has so far received almost 1.9 million views after going viral and appearing in hundreds of news stories, exposed how the TSA’s radiation firing body scanners can easily be fooled by securing an object inside an external pocket sewn on to an item of clothing.

The video shows Corbett carrying a metal case through the scanner, away from his body in his side pocket. Corbett explains that because metallic objects appear as black on the image the scanners produce, the machines do not pick up such objects if they are obscured by the background, which is also black.

The TSA’s response to the controversy was both glib and totally pathetic – the federal agency didn’t even try to deny the fact that Corbett had revealed the body scanner program to be completely useless for the purpose the TSA claims it was designed for.

Following the interest generated by the story, Corbett attempted to obtain video footage of himself defeating the body scanners at Cleveland-Hopkins International Airport under the Freedom of Information Act, efforts that have so far been resisted.

Corbett is still engaged in a lawsuit against the TSA’s naked body scanners and its invasive pat down procedures.

Now Corbett has put out a teaser for a new TSA exposé set to be released.

“I’ve been working on producing a new video, which will be on the same level of epicness as the last one in exposing the TSA — and especially the nude body scanner program — as the giant fraud that it is. I’m pleased to announce that my new video will be released early next week,” writes Corbett on his blog.

“No hints, but I promise you’ll like it. :) Unless, of course, you’re a TSA supporter, in which case… well, apologies in advance.”

The fact that the TSA is set to be embarrassed yet again is hardly a surprise, virtually every week we see a deluge of stories concerning the criminal behavior of the agency’s screeners, but the popularity and importance of Corbett’s previous revelation means we’re waiting on his next effort with baited breath.

Traitor Scum Assembled (TSA) Terrorizes Boy With Broken Leg

Airports have another fantastic reason to evict TSA screeners and replace them with private security as a 3-year-old boy with a broken leg in a wheelchair was terrorized by a Traitor Scum Assembled (TSA) thug.

The incident occurred at O’Hare Airport in Chicago and was recorded by the father of the 3-year-old boy.

A TSA agent begins conducting a pat down of the boy who is sitting in a wheelchair with a broken leg. The boy is confused at being fondled by a stranger and reaches out to his parents for support but they cannot touch him because they have been ordered to stay clear by the TSA agent.

The boy begins trembling and is clearly upset as the creepy TSA moron begins swabbing his cast, his hands and his wheelchair for explosives.

The TSA goon then asks the father to lift up the boy’s shirt so he can swab his body too, offering to conduct this part of the harassment in a private room.

While the boy is being harassed, an old woman with a cane is also told to stand back and wait for an advanced pat down, with the TSA again proving themselves inept at being able to single out the most likely terrorists – nearly crippled senior citizens and toddlers with broken legs in wheelchairs.

Only after several minutes of this pointless, degrading and shameful treatment is the boy allowed to pass security.

This represents yet another sterling reason why airports should take advantage of a new law that allows them to opt-out of using TSA agents to provide security screening.

Harassing three-year-old children in wheelchairs on their way to Disneyland is not a proficient method of preventing terrorism. If the terrorists attacked us because they hate our freedom, as we were told after 9/11, then this proves that the terrorists have won.

Meanwhile, yet more TSA agents have been caught engaged in criminal acts.

41-year-old TSA agent Michael Scott Wilson has been indicted on federal porn charges after allegedly being found in possession of a video “depicting a prepubescent female engaged in masturbation and anal sex with an adult male”.

These are the same people groping your children.

A TSA screener who worked at Newark International was also busted while still wearing her TSA uniform at a major heroin den near an elementary school.

22-year-old Samirah Saunders is accused of helping to distribute 1,400 packets of heroin.

England Olympic Watchers Enter TSA Cancer Lottery

Radiation firing body scanners are set to be used by events organizers during the Olympics in London as part of a huge security lockdown from 27 July to 12 August.

Event Magazine reports that promotion company Live Nation, organizer of the London Live series of events scheduled during the games, will work in conjunction with police to conduct airport-style security checks that could take up to an hour.

The body scanners, along with bag scanners will be temporarily installed at the entrances to Hyde Park and Victoria Park, where organizers plan to broadcast the games on big screens and hold several music concerts.

John Probyn, chief operating officer for Live Nation, said: “The security services will search the sites a couple of days before we open and then we have to vouch for every person, item and every piece of equipment from that point on, so it effectively becomes a sealed site.”

“Every person entering the site, including crew and artists, will either pass through a scanner or be searched,” he said.

“I’m hoping our staff will have more smiles on their faces than the staff you get greeted by at some airports,” Probyn added.

The use of body scanners at large public events is now on the increase, following the precedent set by the Department of Homeland Security employing the machines at The Super Bowl in February.

As we have tirelessly recounted, studies conducted by prestigious universities and health authorities have warned that the machines could lead to serious health problems.

In addition, recent exposure has revealed that the scanners are fundamentally flawed, backing up assertions by some security experts that the machines do not offer an increased level of security.

Last week the London Guardian reported that the Olympics will see a lockdown representing the biggest mobilization of military and security forces since the second world war.

13,500 troops will be deployed in London, more than are currently at war in Afghanistan. The total number of security officials is said to be anywhere in the region of between 24,000 and 49,000 in total.
From the Guardian report:

During the Games an aircraft carrier will dock on the Thames. Surface-to-air missile systems will scan the skies. Unmanned drones, thankfully without lethal missiles, will loiter above the gleaming stadiums and opening and closing ceremonies. RAF Typhoon Eurofighters will fly from RAF Northolt.

A thousand armed US diplomatic and FBI agents and 55 dog teams will patrol an Olympic zone partitioned off from the wider city by an 11-mile, £80m, 5,000-volt electric fence.

Beyond these security spectaculars, more stealthy changes are underway. New, punitive and potentially invasive laws such as the London Olympic Games Act 2006 are in force. These legitimise the use of force, potentially by private security companies, to proscribe Occupy-style protests.

They also allow Olympic security personnel to deal forcibly with the display of any commercial material that is deemed to challenge the complete management of London as a “clean city” to be branded for the global TV audience wholly by prime corporate sponsors (including McDonald’s, Visa and Dow Chemical).

London is also being wired up with a new range of scanners, biometric ID cards, number-plate and facial-recognition CCTV systems, disease tracking systems, new police control centres and checkpoints.

These will intensify the sense of lockdown in a city which is already a byword across the world for remarkably intensive surveillance.

Traitor Scum Assembled (TSA) Body Scanners More Than Defective

The Transportation Security Administration has tacitly admitted that the critical flaws brought to light in a viral You Tube video which exposed how airport body scanners could easily be beaten are accurate, rendering the entire $1 billion dollar program virtually worthless.

Engineer Jon Corbett of the popular blog TSA Out of Our Pants! posted a video that demonstrates how the TSA’s radiation firing body scanners can easily be bypassed. The clip has already received over 700,000 views.

The video shows Corbett carrying a metal case through the scanner, away from his body in his side pocket. Corbett explains that because metallic objects appear as black on the image the scanners produce, the machines do not pick up such objects if they are obscured by the background, which is also black.

The video went viral and despite You Tube slapping an age-restricted censor on the clip, the story was picked up by dozens of major news outlets, forcing the TSA to respond.

On the TSA’s official blog, the agency attempts to discredit Corbett by describing him as “some guy” who launched a “crude attempt to allegedly show how to circumvent TSA screening procedures.”

However, nowhere in the response does the TSA actually address or attempt to disprove Corbett’s demonstration that the body scanner can be easily fooled.

In labeling Corbett’s successful effort to evade the body scanner as “crude,” the TSA has inadvertently admitted that its $1 billion dollar body scanner system can be defeated by “crude” methods.

Body scanners are “one layer of our 20 layers of security,” the blog states, before adding, “our nation’s aviation system is much safer now with the deployment of 600 imaging technology units at 140 airports.”

Obviously, it is not safer if these 600 units can all be rendered useless merely by placing an object inside a pocket sown on to the side of a shirt.

Illustrating how insufficient the TSA’s response is in disproving Corbett’s evidence, the comments in response to the blog post completely savage the federal agency.

“Beautiful, so instead of posting anything to refute the video and/or support it. You give us the old soft shoe and call it good. Sorry, not good enough, if someone has figured out how to bypass the screening. Then this is a cause for concern,” writes one.

“So, TSA detects an artfully concealed item, and it makes that detection a part of its weekly brag report, saying “look how wonderful AIT is, it caught this”.

But then when ordinary people find a way to smuggle contraband past a checkpoint, TSA’s response is “oh, that’s not important, because we have other layers, too. Either AIT is important, or it’s not. Which is it, TSA?” asks another.

“This was such a carefully worded blog post that one can safely conclude that the vulnerability described in the video is true,” adds another.

Almost all of the 60 odd comments made in response to the TSA blog post are critical of the agency and express the belief that Corbett’s video has completely destroyed the justification behind body scanners.

Mr Janet Napolitano was asked about the viral video but stated she had no knowledge of it.

The dyke traitor has probably heard of it by now given the fact that it could represent the final nail in the coffin for the TSA’s expensive, unpopular and completely useless body scanner program.

Forced Pumping Of Milk From Mother Lowest TSA Crime To Date

As Natural News readers already well know, the real agenda of the TSA has absolutely nothing to do with airport security (TSA security is a joke) and everything to do with “prisoner training” the public.

It’s all about humiliation and dehumanization.

It’s about teaching the slave citizens that they are animals to be ordered around by a bunch of lawless government tyrants who only impersonate actual law enforcement officers (TSA “officers” are not sworn officers in any way, and they have no law enforcement training).

The latest example of all this involves a Hawaiian mother who recently attempted to board an airplane in Lihue, Hawaii. She was carrying a breast pump and several empty bottles to hold her breast milk later on.

For those who may not know, many new moms frequently use breast pumps to fill bottles with their own natural mother’s milk which they later give to their children.

Remarkably, upon seeing these empty bottles, the TSA agent in charge lapsed into a power trip frenzy and told her that she could not carry empty bottles on the airplane!

Hold on a second. First we’re told we can’t carry FULL bottles of water or other liquids because, we’re told, those liquids could be mixed together using some totally fictitious laboratory process to make a liquid bomb.

Now we’re told we can’t carry EMPTY bottles on the airplane, too? How’s that? Are we soon going to be told that empty bottles pose a threat to national security because they might contain invisible bomb materials that nobody can see?

Where does the TSA invent all this crap, anyway? Sometimes I think they just sit in the back room and play a break-time game called “Who can come up with the zaniest rule that the intimidated travelers will follow?”

So — get this — the woman was told by the TSA that she would have to fill the empty bottles with breast milk before she could board the plane. This is apparently the TSA’s whacked-out logic on making sure none of those dangerous “empty bottles” get on the airplane, for whatever reason.

Except there is no “breast milking station” at the airport, of course. So where did the TSA direct this woman to go pump her breast milk? You guessed it –the public restroom.

“I asked him if there was a private place I could pump and he said no, you can go in the women’s bathroom,” the woman said. “I had to stand in front of the mirrors and the sinks and pump my breast in front of every tourist that walked into that bathroom. I was embarrassed and humiliated and then angry that I was treated this way.”

You may have noticed this directive was issued by a male TSA agent. I can just see the scene now, with some pot-bellied sloth-like power-tripping pervert man saying, “Go milk your breasts in the bathroom!” and thinking to himself, “Or maybe I’ll milk ‘em for ya, what do you think about that?”

It’s a fact, by the way, that the TSA conducts multiple naked body scanner screenings on attractive women so that the perverts running the scanning imagery boards can get off in the back room. Getting back to the new mom, after she pumped the plastic bottles full of breast milk, she was then allowed to board!

Gosh, I’m surprised she wasn’t then raided at gunpoint by the FDA for trafficking raw milk!

Think about all this for a minute: if she had showed up with plastic bottles full of milk and explained they were breast milk, she would have been ordered to dump them down the drain under the “no liquids allowed over 3 ounces” rule.

But when the bottles were empty, she was ordered to fill them with her own breast milk. Is the TSA just jacking with everybody to invent random, stupid requirements that have no rhyme or reason?

This is yet more evidence that TSA security is all just a big mind game. There’s no actual reasoning to any of it. You’re damned if you do and damned if you don’t.

The TSA can stick their hands down your pants, finger your anus, remove your colostomy bag, undress your grandma behind the curtain feel your childrens’ genitals, and now they can even order you to go into the bathroom and pump the milk out of your mammary glands!

You are just a slave now, get it? And slaves have no rights. No privacy. No due process and no Fourth Amendment protections against illegal searches.

You are a slave under a system based on the total public humiliation of women while demanding complete obedience from everyone. Merely challenging the TSA’s authority causes you to be detained (arrested) as a possible terrorist.

How has America become such a nation where a woman can’t even fly on an airplane without some perverted government goon ordering her to “milk” her own breasts in the restroom?

More importantly, when will the public rise up against this tyranny and call for the mass arrest of all TSA agents who must now be charged with a long list of felony crimes, including sexual harassment, child molestation, and denying people their basic civil rights.

I have repeatedly warned you about this here on NaturalNews, and I’ll warn you again: The TSA is the rise of the new Nazi-style brownshirts in America.

Hitler’s brownshirts “functioned as a paramilitary organization of the National Socialist German Workers’ Party (or Nazi Party). It played a key role in Adolf Hitler’s rise to power in the 1920s and 1930s,” writes Wikipedia.

If their power is not checked, these lawless government thugs will soon be running highway checkpoints, harassing people on street corners, and functioning as a political paramilitary force that effectively puts troops on the streets across America — yet these TSA goons swear no oath to the U.S. Constitution, so they have no loyalty to anything other than their government paycheck.

The TSA was created precisely because the federal government needed a class of low-IQ order takers who could be counted on to intimidate the population but would not be bound to any sworn oath of allegiance to the United States Constitution.

The entire collection of TSA agents is a gang of unindicted criminal felons who must now be held accountable for their crimes against the People.

If they are not, then we no longer live in a nation where the rule of law applies.

Instead, we have surrendered torule by force and intimidation.

And that’s exactly what the TSA wants.

Gov Lies About TSA Body Scanner Safety No Big Shock

A government report on the safety of TSA naked body scanners, cited as newly authoritative by TSA head John Pistole, merely repeats old and questionable information that has been available on the TSA’s website for two years.

The Department of Homeland Security’s Inspector General, concludes that each backscatter radiation machine being used by the TSA “delivers an extremely low dose of ionizing radiation” with levels “below the acceptable limits”.

“Specifically, to reach annual radiation dose limits, a passenger would have to receive more than approximately 17,000 screenings in a 12-month period, which is equivalent to approximately 47 screenings per day, 365 days per year.”

However, those claims are drawn from an old Johns Hopkins University assessment dating from August 2010, and use yearly limits of radiation set by the American National Standards Institute.

The figures cited are purely calculations and are not drawn from any scientific evidence. Dozens of radiologists and scientists have warned that decades of research has not established any dose of radiation as safe.

Indeed, even Johns Hopkins scientists have warned that the TSA body scanners will lead to an increase in cancers.

Despite this, and an admission in the DHS report that the body scanners have not been regularly tested to ensure they are calibrated correctly, the TSA says the report vindicates earlier statements that the machines are safe.

“We believe this report fully endorses TSA’s extensive efforts to keep the traveling public safe, which is our agency’s ultimate priority,” TSA Administrator John Pistole wrote in response to the report.

Pistole himself cited the report when the TSA head reneged on a promise to the Senate to instigate further studies into the safety of the radiation firing scanners.

Pistole had promised to commission further independent research into the safety risks associated with full body scanners, following a Europe wide ban on the machines.

However, within two weeks the TSA head had backtracked, saying the upcoming IG report would contain new findings and that further study was unnecessary at this time.

As it turns out, unsurprisingly, the report simply regurgitates the same unsubstantiated claims the TSA has been making for two years.

Sen. Susan Collins, R-Maine, who introduced legislation to require independent radiation tests of the X-ray scanners, has reiterated her position.

Milly Rodriguez, a health and safety specialist at The American Federation of Government Employees (AFGE) said that the inspector general report “essentially has no new information as far as we are concerned.”

The AFGE, which represents thousands of TSA workers, is concerned that there have been no studies into the levels of radiation that operators of the scanners are being subjected to.

Despite numerous reports suggesting that the TSA had agreed to buy equipment to test employees for radiation exposure, the agency itself later announced it has no intention of doing so.

The LA Times reported that the agency was planning to equip its security officers with individual radiation dosimeters, to test the levels of radiation they were being exposed to from backscatter x-ray body scanners.

However, a post from the TSA’s official blog said that the Times report “missed the mark” and that there was no need for further testing.

Scrutiny over radiation exposure was heightened recently following apparent efforts by the TSA to cover-up a “cluster” of cancer cases amongst scanner operators at Boston-Logan airport.

According to FOIA documents obtained by the Electronic Privacy Information Center (EPIC), when Union representatives in Boston discovered a “cancer cluster” amongst TSA workers linked with radiation from the body scanners, the TSA sought to downplay the matter and refused to issue employees with dosimeters to measure levels of exposure.

The documents indicated how, “A large number of workers have been falling victim to cancer, strokes and heart disease.”

In addition, further documents obtained by EPIC show how the TSA “publicly mischaracterized” findings of the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), in stating that the agency had positively confirmed the safety of full body scanners in tests.

Numerous other studies conducted by prestigious universities and health authorities, including Columbia University, the University of California, and the Inter-Agency Committee on Radiation Safety, have warned that the devices will lead to an increase in cancers.

Despite the fact that almost every independent study has concluded that the machines will cause cancer cases to increase, the TSA routinely denies the threat.

The DHS is also set to expand the use of X-ray scanning machines at US border crossings, despite the availability of millimeter-wave machines that do the same job without emitting harmful radiation.

Very Small Win Against TSA Thuggery

The Senate has passed legislation that includes a provision allowing airports to replace TSA screeners with private security, opening the door for the widely loathed federal agency to be marginalized from aviation security altogether.

The bill was primarily concerned with how the Federal Aviation Authority would be funded for the next four years, but also included measures that would force the TSA to reconsider applications from airports to replace TSA workers with their own privately hired screeners.

“Security companies would have an easier time winning contracts to operate airport checkpoints,” reports Businessweek.

Following a massive nationwide backlash against the TSA’s invasive groping policies and its use of radiation-firing naked body scanners, linked by many prestigious health bodies to cancer, an increasing number of airports attempted to take responsibility for their own screening procedures by replacing TSA workers with privately hired personnel.

When the number of airports attempting to opt-out of the TSA had risen to 16, TSA head John Pistole put a freeze on the process, refusing to consider new applications from airports.

The newly approved legislation “would require the TSA to reconsider applications for private screeners that it had rejected.”

Should airports choose to replace TSA screeners with their own private security, it would not only mean the screeners were better trained and more responsible for their actions, alleviating the problems of thefts and abuse by TSA workers, but it would also create tens of thousands of much needed jobs for the private sector.

“Some airport executives have argued that contract security personnel are more courteous than government workers,” reports CNN. “It was felt that a private contractor would provide friendlier customer service to the traveling public,” the head of a Roswell, New Mexico, airport wrote to Congress.”

A poll found that the TSA’s “enhanced pat downs,” some of which include touching genitalia, angered 57% of regular adult fliers.

West Yellowstone Airport in Montana has already replaced its TSA screeners with private security. Bert Mooney Airport, also in Montana, and Orlando Sanford International Airport in Florida will also be able to have their rejected applications to evict the TSA reconsidered under the new law.

Resentment towards the TSA has raged over the last two years amongst Americans, primarily as a result of the rampant criminality in which TSA workers habitually engage.

The latest example concerns TSA agent Alexandra Schmid, who stole $5,000 in cash from a passenger’s jacket as he was going through security at John F. Kennedy International Airport.

The TSA’s habit of never admitting wrongdoing even when caught has also riled the traveling public.

Even when the agency was forced to apologize for strip-searching two women in their 80′s just before Christmas, the TSA claimed its agents had merely violated protocol, when in fact they had sexually molested the women by forcing them to undress.

Facist TSA Under Fire From Fearful Politicians

Following House approval of the measure the Senate is set to vote on legislation that would allow U.S. airports to replace TSA workers with screeners from private companies, a move that could spell the beginning of the end for the highly unpopular federal agency’s role in airport security.

“The U.S. agency must allow airports to switch to private companies for screeners unless it can show the move wouldn’t be cost-effective and would be detrimental to security, according to the legislation, which if passed will go to President Barack Obama for his signature,” reports Businessweek.

“They’ve been trying to force the door open for several years,” Jeff Price, a Denver-based consultant who has written a textbook on aviation security, said of U.S. lawmakers. “It reverses the burden of proof. It is definitely trying to checkmate the TSA.”

At the height of the anti-TSA drive which coincided with a national full body scanner opt out day, a growing number of airports such as Orlando Sanford International began to exercise their right to replace TSA workers with private screeners.

The TSA soon put a stop to this by freezing the number of airports that could use private screeners, a figure that had climbed to 16.

Orlando Sanford is one of the airports whose vetoed application to remove TSA screeners will have to be reconsidered under the new legislation.

More private security companies are expected to start up if the legislation passes, providing the additional benefit of adding tens of thousands of private sector jobs to the economy.

“You’ll see companies make themselves known,” said Price. “They’ll make sure every airport operator knows the rules have changed.”

The TSA’s involvement in airport security has become highly unpopular over the last two years, with the federal agency mired in one controversy after another, from its agents constantly caught stealing from travelers, to its mistreatment of children and the elderly, to its habitual lies about the safety of naked body scanners.

A petition on the White House website that called for abolishing the TSA received almost 32,000 signatures, forcing TSA chief John Pistole to issue a response.

When Texas lawmakers attempted to pass a bill that would have outlawed the TSA’s “advanced pat down” procedures last year, the feds threatened to impose a no fly zone over the state and the measure was ultimately defeated.

Congress recently gave the green light for $24 million dollars in extra funding for the TSA’s VIPR program, which was responsible for conducting 9,300 unannounced checkpoints last year alone.

For anti-TSA activists, kicking the federal agency out of the nation’s airports will merely be the first step given that TSA workers have now been deployed to staff a network of internal checkpoints.

The TSA is now conducting searches of Americans at train stations, bus depots, ferry ports, on highways and even at high school prom nights.

The federal agency was also responsible for training hot dog sellers and other vendors to spot terrorists at the recent Super Bowl, a story that attracted yet more derision from the national media.
