Bob Beckel, a liberal Fox News pundit and co-host of “The Five” lost his temper at conservative panelist Jennifer Stefano on Hannity Monday night. After his profanity, they discuss whether or not they’re on air.
The Republican backlash against President Barack Obama’s health care-SCOTUS remarks shows no sign of subsiding.
In a speech to the Rotary Club of Lexington, Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell continued the GOP counteroffensive, telling the president to “back off” the Supreme Court.
“The President crossed a dangerous line. And anyone who cares about liberty needs to call him out on it. The independence of the Court must be defended,” McConnell (R-Ky.) said, according to the prepared text of his speech released by his office.
“So respectfully, I would suggest the President back off. Let the Court do its work.”
Obama issued another unconstitutional executive order. The National Defense Resources Preparedness EO allows the government to confiscate your property without due process under the direction of Janet Napolitano and the Department of Homeland Security.
Obama Il Duce: Executive order permits government and corporations to steal private property.
Obama’s EO allows the president to “take actions necessary to ensure the availability of adequate resources and production capability, including services and critical technology, for national defense requirements” in the event of a “potential threat to the security of the United States.”
Obama’s latest EO demonstrates once again that the executive will continue to violate the Constitution, in particular Article I, Section 1, which states: “All legislative Powers herein granted shall be vested in a Congress of the United States, which shall consist of a Senate and House of Representatives.”
Any enactment of law by the executive is made in Excess of Jurisdiction and is by definition treason.
Fascist Executive Orders
Obama’s latest EO underscores and reemphasizes Bill Clinton’s EO 12919, signed on June 6, 1994.
Clinton’s 12919 followed a number of earlier executive orders allowing the government to steal your property – and also force you to be a slave laborer – during a vaguely declared “national emergency.”
The government has given itself the authority to seize all communication (from television stations to CB radios), confiscate all food resources (including farms and farm equipment), take control of all transportation (including your family car), and compel you at gunpoint “under federal supervision” to work as a slave.
National Defense Resources Preparedness is a textbook example of fascism. It allows the government to steal privately owned property and publicly owned infrastructure and hand it over to its preferred corporate partners under the guise of a national emergency: “(b) provide for the modification or expansion of privately owned facilities, including the modification or improvement of production processes, when taking actions under sections 301, 302, or 303 of the Act, 50 U.S.C. App. 2091, 2092, 2093; and (c) sell or otherwise transfer equipment owned by the Federal Government and installed under section 303(e) of the Act, 50 U.S.C. App. 2093(e), to the owners of such plants, factories, or other industrial facilities.”
Fascist philosopher and Italian dictator Benito Mussolini used his principle of a “nation in arms” to steal private property from citizens.
Obama’s latest EO declares the right to do the same. Mussolini devised fascist corporatism – the philosophy of the “corporative state” – and Obama under the direction of his Goldman Sachs and transnational corporate and bankster controllers has updated this corporate-statist doctrine, including the ability to steal privately earned and held wealth under the pretense of a national emergency.
Martial Law
Previous administrations installed the groundwork for Obama’s authoritarian move. Under Reagan, executive agencies were granted sweeping emergency powers to not only grab infrastructure and private property, but also round up citizens and put them in concentration camps and force them into slave labor brigades.
During the Iran-Contra hearings in 1987, it was revealed that the program was a secretive “scenario and drill” developed by the federal government to suspend the Constitution, declare martial law, assign military commanders to take over state and local governments, and detain large numbers of American citizens determined by the government to be “national security threats.”
Obama’s NDAA was established to provide the legal mechanism for tasking the military to round up activists and others targeted by the government. Prior to the NDAA, the Patriot Act, the Military Commissions Act and other related programs, the government devised Rex 84 and in particular Operation Garden Plot, an operational plan to use the Army, USAF, Navy, and Marine Corp. in direct support of civil disturbance control operations. It has since added numerous elements under the rubric of Continuity of Government, the overall war on terror, civil disturbance and emergency response.
With the scantily covered National Emergency Centers Establishment Act, the Military Commissions Act, and the recent NDAA sailing through Congress, and a raft of lesser legislation and unconstitutional directives, we are beginning to see the contours of the police state.
Corporate Media Ignores National Defense Resources Preparedness
A Google News search produces virtually no mention of Obama’s latest assault on the Constitution from the establishment media. The alternative media began covering the latest Obama executive order from the moment it was posted on the White House website but the corporate media remains silent.
Obama’s EO should be headline news. It is a direct assault on the Constitution and further empowers an executive branch dictatorship and allows it to exploit a “full spectrum of emergencies” and permits it to confiscate private property and turn citizens into slaves.
As John Adams noted, the very basis of the Constitution rests on the concept of private property. “The moment the idea is admitted into society that property is not as sacred as the laws of God,” Adams wrote, “anarchy and tyranny commence. Property must be secured or liberty cannot exist.”
In a stunning move Barack Obama signed an Executive Order stating that the President and his specifically designated Secretaries now have the authority to commandeer all domestic U.S. resources including food and water.
The EO also states that the President and his Secretaries have the authority to seize all transportation, energy, and infrastructure inside the United States as well as forcibly induct/draft American citizens into the military.
The EO also contains a vague reference in regards to harnessing American citizens to fulfill “labor requirements” for the purposes of national defense.
TRAITOR HUSSEIN OBAMA LYING AGAIN Not only that, but the authority claimed inside the EO does not only apply to National Emergencies and times of war. It also applies in peacetime.
The National Defense Resources Preparedness Executive Order exploits the “authority” granted to the President in the Defense Production Act of 1950 in order to assert that virtually every means of human survival is now available for confiscation and control by the President via his and his Secretaries’ whim.
The unconstitutionality of the overwhelming majority of Executive Orders is well established, as well as the illegality of denying citizens their basic Constitutional and human rights, even in the event of a legitimate national emergency.
Likewise, it should also be pointed out that, like Obama’s recent Libyan adventure and the foregone conclusion of a Syrian intervention, there is no mention of Congress beyond a minor role.
The KONY 2012 phenomenon was a fire that consumed itself.
The propagandistic film went viral because of its sensationalism and commercialism, not because it was telling the truth and making a worthy difference in the discourse of international politics and the situation in Uganda.
Invisible Children, the group behind the film, has been described as cult-like and clueless by many experts such as Stephen Lewis, a Canadian diplomat and UN envoy to Africa.
We can learn three things from the globalist-run “KONY 2012″ propaganda campaign that is now viewed as an epic disaster after its creator went berserk in public and smashed his fists on the pavement while naked.
One, viral political films must be treated with deep skepticism and caution because their creators are not the final authority on truth and reality.
Second, if discredited politicians, journalists, and organizations promote the film then it is likely that the political cause the film is pushing on viewers is not egalitarian and just.
And three, the massive recognition and popularity of a political film is not an indication of its objectivity, sincerity, and authenticity.
MUST VIEW TRUTHS
Several other political films have went viral on the Internet in the past. The two biggest ones are Peter Joseph’s Zeitgeist, and Alex Jones’s The Obama Deception. Unlike the KONY 2012 film, those films were not funded by large foundations and did not promote militarization and state violence as solutions.
The documentary, “The Obama Deception,” released in March 2009, has been watched 30-40 million times in the last three years, whether on the Internet, or in DVD format. And that is a conservative estimate.
At the time, critics said that the film made wild and conspiratorial claims about Barack Obama’s presidency, the United States government, and Wall Street.
But those critics are silent now.
In 2012, the film’s controversial claims can be measured and fact-checked based on three years of hard data, evidence, and official statements by members of the Obama administration.
II. From Controversy To Consent: The Rising Political Relevance of ‘The Obama Deception’
The ten biggest claims that were made in ‘The Obama Deception,’ according to my reading of the film, are listed below, followed by a brief explanation of why they are true, when necessary.
1. President Obama is a puppet who is owned by the parasitic financial community.
This statement needs no explanation. It is self-evident.
2. President Obama is dedicated to the overthrow of America’s constitutional republic.
President Obama told Congress in May 2011 that America’s bombing of Libya was authorized by the United Nations, and that Congress had no say in the matter.
More recently, Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta informed Senator Jeff Sessions and the Senate that the U.S. military answers to the international bankers behind the new world order, United Nations, and NATO, not the U.S. congress or the American people.
3. President Obama is a proponent of the fraudulent endless war on terror because he wants to use the global chaos to finalize the covert establishment of a global fascist government.
President Obama has continued, and, in many areas, advanced the Bush administration’s illegal and undefined global war on terror.
Although he has not consciously used the phrase “global war on terror,” there is no doubt President Obama is fighting this senseless, diabolical, criminal, and evil war in America’s name to accomplish hidden political aims that go against America’s interests.
The mindless global war on terror is not being fought to defend America’s security, but to drive the United States government to bankruptcy and collapse, and make way for the establishment of a new global fascist government.
The Obama administration’s foreign policy is radical, and criminal. It has funded and armed Al-Qaeda terrorists in Libya and Syria to change unfriendly regimes under the guise of supporting democracy activists against their oppressive governments.
And it is also planning to bomb Iran despite not proving their case that Iran is a threat to America.
In his recent article called, “The 0% Doctrine: Obama Breaks New Ground When It Comes to War With Iran,” Tom Engelhardt wrote:
“Whether he meant to or not, in his latest version of Iran war policy President Obama has built on the Bush precedent. His represents, however, an even more extreme version, which should perhaps be labeled the 0% Doctrine.
In holding off a strike that may itself be nothing but a bluff, he has defined a future Iranian decision to build a nuclear weapon as a new form of aggression against the United States. We would, as the president explained to Jeffrey Goldberg, be committing our military power against Iran not to prevent an attack on the U.S. itself, but a nuclear arms race in the Middle East.”
4. President Obama is the new face of imperialism in Africa, and militarizing the continent under the political cover of humanitarianism.
President Obama, who sold himself as a son of Africa, has used his power as the face of the world’s most powerful country to help his financial masters to further loot, rape, divide, and destroy African countries. On March 10, 2012, Tony Cartalucci wrote:
“Today, US Africa Command, known as AFRICOM, is spreading across Africa in the footsteps of Cecil Rhodes. As reported by allAfrica.com, Vice Admiral Moeller at an AFRICOM meeting held at Fort McNair on February 18, 2008 would declare that protecting “the free flow of natural resources from Africa to the global market” was one of AFRICOM’s guiding principles. Of course by “global market,” the admiral means the Fortune 500 corporations of Wall Street and London.
In our politically sensitive modern age, pillaging Africa in the footsteps of shameless and quite racist imperialists is very difficult to do. Therefore, Joseph Kony, Al Qaeda, Qaddafi, starving children, pirates, and every other geopolitical ploy and contrivance imaginable, and some left yet unimagined have been used to justify AFRICOM’s expanding presence on a continent they have no business setting foot on.”
Obama’s African agenda is far from humanitarian. The aim of the Obama administration, AFRICOM, and the Globalist Empire is to destroy and steal from Africa, not assist economic growth and generate prosperity. America is acting as the 21st century version of Attila the Hun and Genghis Khan, who conquered in order to destroy and kill.
5. President Obama is motivated to help attack Iran and start World War III.
President Obama’s opposition to an attack on Iran is done for public consumption. His real, on-the-ground policies are leading to an eventual clash between the United States against Iran. Such an attack would trigger a wider war in the volatile region, accelerate the collapse of the global economy, and draw the world closer to the fires of Hell.
6. President Obama is pursuing policies of de-industrialization and coercive population control against America, and other third-world countries.
The Obama administration has continued the unspoken policy of previous administration to de-industrialize the United States of America. While hiding behind the rhetoric of environmentalism and free trade, top U.S. officials in both parties have worked towards the goal of destroying the U.S. economy.
They have the misguided view that American overconsumption is an economic burden on the rest of the planet, and see their actions of destruction as necessary and beneficial for the long-term health of the planet. Also, they hide the fact that U.S. and Western multinational companies along with the crazy advertisement culture created American overconsumption.
So, in a schizophrenic fashion, the corporate creators of the overconsumption problem are also serving as the destroyers who are executing the solutions, which are de-industrialization, economic depression, and other policies of mass death.
7. President Obama is trying to disarm the American people with fear-mongering tactics, and using back-door tricks to get around public opinion and Congress.
This is another self-evident truth that needs no explanation. I’ll refer you to the Fast and Furiousgun-running scandal that went all the way up to Eric Holder’s office and the White House.
8. President Obama is destroying self-sufficient and independent communities inside the United States to prevent active economic and political resistance against the criminally hijacked federal government, multinational corporations, and Agenda 21.
The war against the Amish and independent farmers throughout the United States by the Monsanto-owned FDA is being waged in the name of environmentalism and sustainable development, and it is evil in the most extreme sense of the word.
It is a war against the American people and the free market by multinational corporations that have hijacked the U.S. government and the international regulatory system. Their aim is to completely destroy the independent farmer, free communal marketplaces, and self-sufficient communities in the United States and North America because such entities are economic threats to their bottom line.
9. President Obama is impeding the economic recovery of the United States and advancing the financial oligarchy’s criminal plan to bankrupt the country totally and set up a military dictatorship.
The looting of America by the international financial oligarchs has been continuous, relentless, and absolutely devastating. It is part of a larger economic conquest of Western nations by the banksters, and their political surrogates in the IMF, World Bank, and WTO.
In October 2001, journalist Greg Palast wrote how the IMF’s destruction of Argentina in the early 2000s was a strategically planned operation in an article called, “The Globalizer Who Came In From the Cold.” Palast warned on the Alex Jones show in 2002 that the IMF’s economic model of looting and consolidation would be copied in America and the West.
And the warning is coming true as America and Western civilization fall deeper into an economic crisis, with the IMF looming over every nation like a bird of death.
The solution to a financially engineered crisis that Palast offered was,“remove the bloodsuckers.” By contrast, President Obama and the treacherous U.S. political elite are offering military dictatorship as a solution because they work for the financial bloodsuckers.
On the eve of 2012, President Obama demanded that the Congress give him the power to indefinitely detain American citizens without proof or trial. But this power-grab only scratches the surface.
The despotic power of illegal detention is one tool among many that will be used against the American people to defend the NATO/UN military dictatorship over America and North America. President Obama also says he has the right to kill American citizens based on the authority of his office. In other words, President Barack Obama is death personified.
10. President Obama is waging a total war against humanity for the benefit of his Satanic Globalist Overlords.
Again, no explanation is needed. There should be no controversy about Obama’s birthplace. He is from the dark pits of Hell. With his evil actions he has shown himself to be a son of Satan.
III. Words of Warning, Words of Truth, Words of Power
At the end of his film, ‘The Obama Deception,’ Alex Jones said:
“In summation, Barack Obama is a Madison-Avenue created fad. All of the crazed Obama worship being pushed by the corporate media is scientifically designed to capture the public in a net of peer pressure mass euphoria. If the new world order can just distract the public for a few more years, the elite can finish constructing their police state control grid.
Barack Obama is the perfect Trojan Horse. He makes the people feel like they finally have a place at the table, even as he betrays them. Sadly, many Obama supporters can’t see what’s right in front of their faces because they’ve already invested their very identity in this artificially created cult movement. Throughout history, it has happened over and over again. People turn their intellect over to cult of personality mass movements, and it’s happening again.
The evidence presented in this film is documented fact. And those that ignore what history has taught us do so at the peril of us all. As frightening as the information in this film is, there are many things we can do to stop the globalist agenda dead in its tracks.
First, we expose the cult of Obama for what it is: a sad hoax. Next, realize that we are all being propagandized, 24/7. Investigate all information for yourself, be it political parties, the media, or this film. Be aware of the tricks that the elite use like the staging of false flag terror attacks and other crises.
Rediscover the Constitution and Bill of Rights. Promote a culture of true liberty. There is a reason why the internationalists are attempting to destroy the sovereignty of all 50 states. They know it is one of the biggest threats to their domination. The federal government has been completely hijacked by foreign interest, and more than 25 states have recognized this fact and are moving to block the New World Order at the state level by declaring their 10th Amendment powers.
But most important of all, there is a huge awakening taking place in the United States and across the world against the globalist agenda. Free people everywhere are joining together and saying no to corruption and tyranny, and no to world government.”
Those words ring more true now than they did in 2009. President Obama’s own actions have demonstrated the truth of the observations and assertions that were made in The Obama Deception.
Far from being wild, crazy, and conspiratorial, The Obama Deception is now regarded as ahead of its time in its political diagnosis of Barack Obama and the United States. It is truth-telling at its most noblest.
Abraham Lincoln said, “Truth is generally the best vindication against slander.” The truth that is in The Obama Deception has stood up against all forms of mindless attacks because it is secure in the firm soil of understanding, history, and common sense. Truth requires no defense, only affirmation.
The dictatorship of lies, myths, and frauds that has come into being in America is politically weak because it stands on the frail ground of state propaganda, mental oppression, and the rejection of history.
Sooner or later the official statements by the U.S. government will be received as absurd fiction by all, and its spellbinding power over the American mind will vanish into air.
By the authority vested in me as President by the Constitution and the laws of the United States of America, including the Defense Production Act of 1950, as amended (50 U.S.C. App. 2061 et seq.), and section 301 of title 3, United States Code, and as Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces of the United States, it is hereby ordered as follows:
PART I – PURPOSE, POLICY, AND IMPLEMENTATION

(c) be prepared, in the event of a potential threat to the security of the United States, to take actions necessary to ensure the availability of adequate resources and production capability, including services and critical technology, for national defense requirements;
(d) improve the efficiency and responsiveness of the domestic industrial base to support national defense requirements; and
(e) foster cooperation between the defense and commercial sectors for research and development and for acquisition of materials, services, components, and equipment to enhance industrial base efficiency and responsiveness.
Sec. 104. Implementation.
(a) The National Security Council and Homeland Security Council, in conjunction with the National Economic Council, shall serve as the integrated policymaking forum for consideration and formulation of national defense resource preparedness policy and shall make recommendations to the President on the use of authorities under the Act.
(b) The Secretary of Homeland Security shall:
(1) advise the President on issues of national defense resource preparedness and on the use of the authorities and functions delegated by this order;
(2) provide for the central coordination of the plans and programs incident to authorities and functions delegated under this order, and provide guidance to agencies assigned functions under this order, developed in consultation with such agencies; and
(3) report to the President periodically concerning all program activities conducted pursuant to this order.

(1) in a manner consistent with section 2(b) of the Act, 50 U.S.C. App. 2062
(b), advise the President through the Assistant to the President and National Security Advisor, the Assistant to the President for Homeland Security and Counterterrorism, and the Assistant to the President for Economic Policy on the effective use of the authorities under the Act; and
(2) prepare and coordinate an annual report to the Congress pursuant to section 722(d) of the Act, 50 U.S.C. App. 2171(d).
(d) The Secretary of Commerce, in cooperation with the Secretary of Defense, the Secretary of Homeland Security, and other agencies, shall:
(1) analyze potential effects of national emergencies on actual production capability, taking into account the entire production system, including shortages of resources, and develop recommended preparedness measures to strengthen capabilities for production increases in national emergencies; and
(2) perform industry analyses to assess capabilities of the industrial base to support the national defense, and develop policy recommendations to improve the international competitiveness of specific domestic industries and their abilities to meet national defense program needs.
PART II – PRIORITIES AND ALLOCATIONS
Sec. 201. Priorities and Allocations Authorities.
(a) The authority of the President conferred by section 101 of the Act, 50 U.S.C. App. 2071, to require acceptance and priority performance of contracts or orders (other than contracts of employment) to promote the national defense over performance of any other contracts or orders, and to allocate materials, services, and facilities as deemed necessary or appropriate to promote the national defense, is delegated to the following agency heads:
(1) the Secretary of Agriculture with respect to food resources, food resource facilities, livestock resources, veterinary resources, plant health resources, and the domestic distribution of farm equipment and commercial fertilizer;
(2) the Secretary of Energy with respect to all forms of energy;
(3) the Secretary of Health and Human Services with respect to health resources;
(4) the Secretary of Transportation with respect to all forms of civil transportation;
(5) the Secretary of Defense with respect to water resources; and
(6) the Secretary of Commerce with respect to all other materials, services, and facilities, including construction materials.
(b) The Secretary of each agency delegated authority under subsection
(a) of this section (resource departments) shall plan for and issue regulations to prioritize and allocate resources and establish standards and procedures by which the authority shall be used to promote the national defense, under both emergency and non-emergency conditions.
Each Secretary shall authorize the heads of other agencies, as appropriate, to place priority ratings on contracts and orders for materials, services, and facilities needed in support of programs approved under section 202 of this order.
(c) Each resource department shall act, as necessary and appropriate, upon requests for special priorities assistance, as defined by section 801(l) of this order, in a time frame consistent with the urgency of the need at hand.
In situations where there are competing program requirements for limited resources, the resource department shall consult with the Secretary who made the required determination under section 202 of this order. Such Secretary shall coordinate with and identify for the resource department which program requirements to prioritize on the basis of operational urgency.
In situations involving more than one Secretary making such a required determination under section 202 of this order, the Secretaries shall coordinate with and identify for the resource department which program requirements should receive priority on the basis of operational urgency.
(d) If agreement cannot be reached between two such Secretaries, then the issue shall be referred to the President through the Assistant to the President and National Security Advisor and the Assistant to the President for Homeland Security and Counterterrorism.
(e) The Secretary of each resource department, when necessary, shall make the finding required under section 101(b) of the Act, 50 U.S.C. App. 2071(b). This finding shall be submitted for the President’s approval through the Assistant to the President and National Security Advisor and the Assistant to the President for Homeland Security and Counterterrorism.
Upon such approval, the Secretary of the resource department that made the finding may use the authority of section 101(a) of the Act, 50 U.S.C. App. 2071(a), to control the general distribution of any material (including applicable services) in the civilian market.
Sec. 202. Determinations. Except as provided in section 201(e) of this order, the authority delegated by section 201 of this order may be used only to support programs that have been determined in writing as necessary or appropriate to promote the national defense:

(b) by the Secretary of Energy with respect to energy production and construction, distribution and use, and directly related activities; and
(c) by the Secretary of Homeland Security with respect to all other national defense programs, including civil defense and continuity of Government.
Sec. 203. Maximizing Domestic Energy Supplies.
The authorities of the President under section 101(c)(1) (2) of the Act, 50 U.S.C. App. 2071(c)(1) (2), are delegated to the Secretary of Commerce, with the exception that the authority to make findings that materials (including equipment), services, and facilities are critical and essential, as described in section 101(c)(2)(A) of the Act, 50 U.S.C. App. 2071(c)(2)(A), is delegated to the Secretary of Energy.
Sec. 204. Chemical and Biological Warfare. The authority of the President conferred by section 104(b) of the Act, 50 U.S.C. App. 2074(b), is delegated to the Secretary of Defense. This authority may not be further delegated by the Secretary.
PART III – EXPANSION OF PRODUCTIVE CAPACITY AND SUPPLY
Sec. 301. Loan Guarantees.
(a) To reduce current or projected shortfalls of resources, critical technology items, or materials essential for the national defense, the head of each agency engaged in procurement for the national defense, as defined in section 801(h) of this order, is authorized pursuant to section 301 of the Act, 50 U.S.C. App. 2091, to guarantee loans by private institutions.
(b) Each guaranteeing agency is designated and authorized to: (1) act as fiscal agent in the making of its own guarantee contracts and in otherwise carrying out the purposes of section 301 of the Act; and (2) contract with any Federal Reserve Bank to assist the agency in serving as fiscal agent.
(c) Terms and conditions of guarantees under this authority shall be determined in consultation with the Secretary of the Treasury and the Director of the Office of Management and Budget (OMB).
The guaranteeing agency is authorized, following such consultation, to prescribe:
(1) either specifically or by maximum limits or otherwise, rates of interest, guarantee and commitment fees, and other charges which may be made in connection with such guarantee contracts; and
(2) regulations governing the forms and procedures (which shall be uniform to the extent practicable) to be utilized in connection therewith.
Sec. 302. Loans. To reduce current or projected shortfalls of resources, critical technology items, or materials essential for the national defense, the head of each agency engaged in procurement for the national defense is delegated the authority of the President under section 302 of the Act, 50 U.S.C. App. 2092, to make loans thereunder. Terms and conditions of loans under this authority shall be determined in consultation with the Secretary of the Treasury and the Director of OMB.
Sec. 303. Additional Authorities.
(a) To create, maintain, protect, expand, or restore domestic industrial base capabilities essential for the national defense, the head of each agency engaged in procurement for the national defense is delegated the authority of the President under section 303 of the Act, 50 U.S.C. App. 2093, to make provision for purchases of, or commitments to purchase, an industrial resource or a critical technology item for Government use or resale, and to make provision for the development of production capabilities, and for the increased use of emerging technologies in security program applications, and to enable rapid transition of emerging technologies.
(b) Materials acquired under section 303 of the Act, 50 U.S.C. App. 2093, that exceed the needs of the programs under the Act may be transferred to the National Defense Stockpile, if, in the judgment of the Secretary of Defense as the National Defense Stockpile Manager, such transfers are in the public interest.
Sec. 304. Subsidy Payments. To ensure the supply of raw or nonprocessed materials from high cost sources, or to ensure maximum production or supply in any area at stable prices of any materials in light of a temporary increase in transportation cost, the head of each agency engaged in procurement for the national defense is delegated the authority of the President under section 303(c) of the Act, 50 U.S.C. App. 2093(c), to make subsidy payments, after consultation with the Secretary of the Treasury and the Director of OMB.
Sec. 305. Determinations and Findings. (a) Pursuant to budget authority provided by an appropriations act in advance for credit assistance under section 301 or 302 of the Act, 50 U.S.C. App. 2091, 2092, and consistent with the Federal Credit Reform Act of 1990, as amended (FCRA), 2 U.S.C. 661 et seq., the head of each agency engaged in procurement for the national defense is delegated the authority to make the determinations set forth in sections 301(a)(2) and 302(b)(2) of the Act, in consultation with the Secretary making the required determination under section 202 of this order; provided, that such determinations shall be made after due consideration of the provisions of OMB Circular A 129 and the credit subsidy score for the relevant loan or loan guarantee as approved by OMB pursuant to FCRA.
(b) Other than any determination by the President under section 303(a)(7)(b) of the Act, the head of each agency engaged in procurement for the national defense is delegated the authority to make the required determinations, judgments, certifications, findings, and notifications defined under section 303 of the Act, 50 U.S.C. App. 2093, in consultation with the Secretary making the required determination under section 202 of this order.
Sec. 306. Strategic and Critical Materials. The Secretary of Defense, and the Secretary of the Interior in consultation with the Secretary of Defense as the National Defense Stockpile Manager, are each delegated the authority of the President under section 303(a)(1)(B) of the Act, 50 U.S.C. App. 2093(a)(1)(B), to encourage the exploration, development, and mining of strategic and critical materials and other materials.
Sec. 307. Substitutes. The head of each agency engaged in procurement for the national defense is delegated the authority of the President under section 303(g) of the Act, 50 U.S.C. We are dealing with the era of war in the name of peace. The Responsibility to Protect Doctrine is a deliberate call for preemptive war. This issue has been carefully crafted by the very individuals most responsible for the war in Libya, which helped put al Qaeda in power there and resulted in a black genocide and ethnic cleansing. It is time we woke up to the agenda hiding behind certain specifically-arranged “humanitarian” crises.
Actor George Clooney lends his famous face to spotlight the crisis in Sudan, adding another front to the “humanitarian” calls for intervention in Africa, coinciding with the KONY 2012 social experiment to deploy troops to Uganda.
Clooney just finished staging an arrest at the Sudanese embassy.
Looking behind this tear-jerking propaganda, it is extremely significant that Clooney’s running mate in this Sudanese mission is John Prendergast, not only a “human rights activist” as head of the NGO Enough Project, but a former member of the National Security Council and State Department.
He was second to now UN Ambassador Susan Rice, a bedfellow of current National Security Council ‘humanitarian’ Samantha Power and a member of the International Crisis Group, headed by George Soros and Zbigniew Brzezinski.
That pedigree should raise eyebrows from any thinking person. If you think the very SAME groups waging wars across the globe will be the saviors of these victims, think again.
Sudanese in the Nuba Mountains are supposedly holding signs in English demanding justice at the International Criminal Court and asking the West for a “No Fly Zone.”
These signs are clearly manufactured, as they mirror buzz words chosen because they are part of an agenda long crafted by the likes of George Soros, Samantha Power and others.
Fellow traveler John Prendergast makes specific mention of the “Responsibility to Protect,” this doctrine is again branded to feed a call for another preemptive war in the name of humanity.
We have previously exposed this agenda, patently brought to life by these very groups.
See Secrets KONY 2012 is Desperate to Hide for further information on the agenda behind these causes, sympathetic in appearance but designed to open up AFRICOM military action while legitimizing the ICC world government organ.
Without a doubt, these Sudanese are victims, and what is happening there and many places is horrible. But it strains the imagination to see pro-establishment warmongers actually solving the crisis.
On the other hand, these players will certainly offer a solution– one that fits their agenda for greater power and more intervention overseas. That is textbook Hegelian dialectic, the problem-reaction-solution model.
The existence of a real problem does not make the solution they provide acceptable.
It is fairly obvious Obama and Congress rushed through H.R. 347 in order to curtail demonstrations that will undoubtedly occur during both Democrat and Republican conventions this summer.
Also known as the “Federal Restricted Buildings and Grounds Improvement Act of 2011,” the bill makes it a felony to disrupt or protest at any place or event attended by any person with secret service protection.
“Current law makes it illegal to enter or remain in an area where certain government officials (more particularly, those with Secret Service protection) will be visiting temporarily if and only if the person knows it’s illegal to enter the restricted area but does so anyway,”
Michigan Rep. Justin Amash wrote on his Facebook page. “[H.R. 347] expands current law to make it a crime to enter or remain in an area where an official is visiting even if the person does not know it’s illegal to be in that area and has no reason to suspect it’s illegal.”
Amash, Paul Broun, a Georgia Republican, and Ron Paul were the lone dissenting voices opposed to this bill, which is being called the “First Amendment Rights Eradication Act” designed specifically to counter the Occupy movement and other political groups opposed to the bankster regime in control of the Congress and the presidency.
Democrats have characterized opposition to the bill as “a whole lot of kerfuffle over nothing.”
Gene Howington, a guest blogger on law professor Jonathan Turley’s blog, contends that the government deliberately made the language of H.R. 347 vague and overly broad.
Howington writes that “it seems to be a trend that vague or overly broad language could be fairly described as being purposefully adopted allowing ‘wiggle room’ for Federal authorities to potentially abuse civil and human rights under the color of authority.”
While the recently enacted and also vaguely worded NDAA “poses a threat to your 4th, 5th and 6th Amendment rights, the newest attack of vague language is aimed at your 1st Amendment rights of Freedom of Speech, Freedom of Assembly and Freedom to Petition,” Howington notes.
“As currently worded, it might as well have been called the ‘Federal We’re Too Important To Be Annoyed By Your Protest Act of 2011′ or (as described by Rep. Justin Amash (R-MI), one of the few Representatives to vote against the bill) the ‘First Amendment Rights Eradication Act’ because it effectively outlaws protests near people who are ‘authorized’ to be protected by the Secret Service.”
In 1998, Bill Clinton signed Presidential Decision Directive 62 establishing the National Special Security Events, or NSSE, a directive making the Secret Service responsible for security at designated events, including presidential nominating conventions.
Other events under NSEE include summits of world leaders, meetings of international organizations, and presidential inaugurations. In other words, with the passage of this bill, it will now be a felony to protest the G20 and globalist “trade” summits and other neoliberal confabs where international banksters and their minions plot our future behind closed doors.
Such a draconian restriction of the First Amendment is another step in an effort to outlaw all protest against the government, especially at events where the controllers discuss and finalize their plans to implement world government and a centralized global banking system.
The global elite have repeatedly demonstrated their animosity toward the Constitution and the Bill of Rights. Taking down the First Amendment – in addition to the Fourth, Fifth, Sixth and most importantly the Second – under the bogus and contrived aegis of a manufactured war on terror amply reveals what they have a mind: a gulag panopticon where resistance is not only futile, but illegal, and where the slaves are disarmed and powerless to effectuate change.
Franklin Roosevelt was a traitor for maneuvering Japan into war with US - and that is known and admitted - FDR was a traitor for sacrificing American lives, for putting America in danger, for usurping the Constitutional power of Congress to make war.
Day of infamy, indeed; he chose his words precisely with a hidden double-meaning. Four days before the attack, FDR could have sent telegrams of condolence to the families of the sailors he was going to allow to be killed.
Even today there is a coverup, based on a transparently bogus excuse of national security, that shows that our government cannot face the truth about what happened a half-century ago. Truth we owe the men of Pearl Harbor.
Until we tell the full truth, we dishonor them and every soldier and sailor who gave their life for their country. Should their lives have been sacrificed for treason and no one know, they had died in vain.
If their honor cover treason - we are not a nation of law. The Air Corps in the Philippines and the Navy at Pearl were FDR's bait, the oil embargo was his stick, the end of negotiations was the tripwire in FDR's game of shame - a game of death for so many.
Roosevelt aided and abetted the murder of thousands of Americans.
More evidence few people are interested in the establishment’s candidates. Meanwhile, Ron Paul continues to draw SRO crowds ignored by the corporate media.
Mitt Romney has had a few awkward moments throughout the primary season. But few could match his speech to the Detroit Economic Club at Ford Field.
The 65,000-seat home of the National Football League’s Detroit Lions seemed like an odd choice of venue for an appearance in front of a crowd of just 1,250 people.
Romney spoke from a podium on the 30-yard line of the football field in Detroit, Michigan, as the crowd, mostly men in suits, sat in chairs set up on the artificial turf.
While the numbers of illegal immigrants living in the U.S. have leveled off during the Obama presidency, suspicion is rising about whether the president is pandering to Latinos to attract their votes in November.
“Despite the claims of the Obama administration that they’ve been tough on illegal immigration and that the border is more secure than ever,” Center for Immigration Studies director of policy studies Jessica Vaughan told The Daily Caller, “the fact is that they have gone to extreme measures and have really stretched the authority of the executive branch to try to slow down immigration law enforcement in the interior to a slow trickle.”
Vaughan pointed to a recent Immigration and Customs Enforcement settlement that awarded $350,000 to 11 illegal immigrants in New Haven, Conn.
The plaintiffs had accused ICE agents of violating constitutional protections against racial profiling after they were arrested in the “sanctuary city” in 2007.
The settlement also terminated the plaintiffs’ deportation proceedings.
“The administration has chosen not to defend the actions of its agency in doing its routine job,” Vaughan explained. “They have put pressure on all of the agents all over the country to avoid arresting illegal aliens.”
Illegal immigrants who fled Alabama after it began cracking down on illegal immigration in its borders are now safely returning to the state as the Obama administration’s backdoor amnesty policies have undermined the ability of Alabama to enforce its own state laws as well as existing federal immigration laws.
No one knows how many people initially left the state, so it is impossible to determine exactly how many illegal immigrants have returned.
However, in an interview of 18 Hispanic immigrants interviewed by The Associated Press in the Birmingham area, six had friends or relatives return to the state.
Conservatives who supported the state’s crackdown argues that making it impossible to legally find work and housing would force people to “self-deport” and move out of the state.
Of course, no one expected the Obama administration to stop all pending deportations and punish states trying to uphold existing federal immigration laws with multi-million dollar lawsuits.
The 11th Circuit Court of Appeals is set to hear arguments from the Obama administration, immigrant groups and others over Alabama’s law.
Democrat leader Nancy Pelosi has gone after Wall Street and profiteers for rapidly rising oil and gasoline prices.
PLUG UGLY TRAITOR WHORE NANCY PELOSI
“Independent reports confirm that speculators are driving up the cost of oil, hurting consumers and potentially damaging the economic recovery. Wall Street profiteering, not oil shortages, is the cause of the price spike.
In fact, U.S. oil production is at its highest level since 2003, and millions of acres have been cleared for additional development,” Pelosi writes in a press release.
Pelosi blamed Republicans, of course.
“We need to take strong action to protect consumers from this speculation. Unfortunately, Republicans have chosen to protect the interests of Wall Street speculators and oil companies instead of the interests of working Americans by obstructing the agencies with the responsibility of enforcing consumer protection laws.
They have also repeatedly opposed our efforts to end billions of dollars in outdated taxpayer subsidies for oil companies enjoying record profits.”
It’s popular to attack corporations, especially during an election year, but it should be noted that Pelosi is fibbing about greedy oil companies.
“For every gallon of gasoline, diesel or finished products we manufactured and sold in the United States in the last three months of 2010, we earned a little more than 2 cents per gallon. That’s not a typo. Two cents,” reports an Exxon blog.
Meanwhile, federal and state governments reaped a bonanza on gas taxes.
According to research conducted by Mark Perry of Daily Markets, taxes averaged 48.1 cents per gallon across all states as of April of 2011.
If Pelosi were honest – and an honest politician is a rarity – she would tell us the real reason gas prices are so high: the cost of crude oil. It represents 55% of the cost.
The remaining cost is from distribution and taxes, not gouging by greedy oil companies as madame Pelosi would have the commoners believe.
Iran has vowed to shut down the Strait of Hormuz and block the distribution of Persian Gulf oil if the United States attack, which is now virtually a foregone conclusion.
Pelosi and the Democrats think their anti-Wall Street rhetoric will get them re-elected come November. In fact, both parties are captured by Wall Street and the bankers and Pelosi’s cartoonish call is merely flabby election year rhetoric.
It makes no difference who is in the Oval Office and Congress. We’ll get high gas prices and war because that’s what the global elite have in mind for us.
Has the economy improved since Barack Obama became the president of the United States? Of course not.
UGLY KENYA BORN TRAITOR HUSSEIN OBAMA
Anyone that believes that things are better than they were when Barack Obama was elected is simply being delusional. Yes, things have stabilized somewhat and our economy is not in free fall mode at this point. But don’t be fooled. This bubble of false hope will be short-lived.
The problems we are seeing develop in Europe will erupt into another full-fledged global financial crisis and economic conditions in the United States will get even worse. When that happens, what possible ” economic solutions” will Barack Obama have for us?
We never even came close to recovering from the last great financial crisis, and now something potentially even worse is staring us in the face. This is not a great time to have a total lack of leadership in Washington.
The following are 18 statistics that prove that the economy has not improved since Barack Obama became the president of the United States….
#1 Today there are 88 million working age Americans that are not employed and that are not looking for employment. That is an all-time record high.
#2 When Barack Obama was elected, the percentage of unemployed Americans that had been out of work for more than 52 weeks was less than 15%. Today, it is above 30%.
#3 There are 1.2 million fewer jobs in America today than there were when Barack Obama was inaugurated.
#4 When Barack Obama first took office, the number of “long-term unemployed workers” in the United States was approximately 2.6 million. Today, that numberis sitting at 5.6 million.
#5 The average duration of unemployment in the United States is hovering close to an all-time record high.
#6 During the Obama administration, worker health insurance costs have risenby 23 percent.
#7 Since Barack Obama has been president, the average price of a gallon of gasoline in the United States has increased by 90 percent.
#8 Since Barack Obama has been president, home values in the United States have declined by another 13 percent.
#9 Under Barack Obama, new home sales in the U.S. set a brand new all-time record low in 2009, they set a brand new all-time record low again in 2010, and they set a brand new all-time record low once again during 2011.
#10 Since Barack Obama took office, the number of Americans living in poverty has risen by more than 6 million.
#11 Since Barack Obama entered the White House, the number of Americans on food stamps has increased from 32 million to 46 million.
#12 The amount of money that the federal government gives directly to Americans has increased by 32 percent since Barack Obama entered the White House.
#13 According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the percentage of Americans living in “extreme poverty” is now sitting at an all-time high.
#14 When Barack Obama first took office, an ounce of gold was going for about $850. Today an ounce of gold costs more than $1700 an ounce.
#15 Since Barack Obama became president, the size of the U.S. national debt has increased by 44 percent.
#16 During Barack Obama’s first two years in office, the U.S. government added more to the U.S. national debt than the first 100 U.S. Congresses combined.
#17 During the Obama administration, the U.S. government has accumulated more debt than it did from the time that George Washington took office to the time that Bill Clinton took office.
#18 The U.S. national debt has been increasing by an average of more than 4 billion dollars per day since the beginning of the Obama administration.
Oh, but Barack Obama is promising that things will be much better very soon. Barack Obama is pledging that 2 million more jobs will be added to the economy in 2012.
Do you believe him?
Congress certainly seems to think that things will be getting better. Congress has reduced the maximum amount of time that the unemployed can receive unemployment benefits to 73 weeks. That change will go into effect later this year.
But there are still millions of very talented Americans that cannot find work after years of looking.
So what are they supposed to do?
A recent Business Insider article featured the story of Helen Hatat, a woman from southern California that has been unemployed since 2009….
She lost her job in public relationships in 2009 after more than 20 years of working in the entertainment industry, the Southern California resident said.
“When you don’t have a job, you don’t find a job, and when you don’t have a job, you don’t find a home,” she said.
At first she tried moving into a homeless shelter, but left because they treated her “like garbage.” Eventually she found a friend she could stay with, but this arrangement won’t last forever.
“I’ve found you lose most of your friends, you know. If you have money people love you. If you don’t have any money people hate you. They treat you like you are contagious.“
As government finances get tight, things are going to get really tough for women like her.
When evaluating the health of the American economy, the key is not to focus on the short-term economic numbers. Sometimes they go up and sometimes they do down.
Instead, the key is to look at the long-term balance sheet numbers. When you do that, it quickly becomes apparent how appalling our economic decline has been.
The size of federal government debt is exploding, state and local governments all over the country are drowning in debt, our collective national wealth is decreasing and our ability to produce new wealth is also being reduced as our economic infrastructure is systematically gutted.
Of course all of the blame should not go to Obama. The truth is that the Federal Reserve has much more power over the economy than Obama does. But the American people are constantly told that the Federal Reserve is “not political” and that we should not criticize the Fed.
So it is kind of ridiculous that presidents are judged by the performance of the economy. Yes, Bush, Clinton, Bush and Obama have all greatly contributed to the mess that we are in, but they are not solely responsible for it.
In the end, however, the outcome of the next presidential election will probably be very heavily influenced by how the U.S. economy performs during the rest of 2012.
Sadly, as our economy declines it is bringing out the worst in many Americans. For example, “sugar daddy” websites are absolutely exploding in popularity. Young women that are hungry for cash are selling their “services” to sick older men who are willing to finance the lifestyles of these desperate young women in exchange for “companionship”.
The following comes from a recent article in The Independent….
In America’s booming online dating market, few sectors are hotter than so-called “sugar daddy” sites, which help rich men to make “arrangements” with attractive and financially needy younger women.
Between them, these specialist sites now account for 10 percent of the entire industry. That’s no small beans, given that in the US the online dating business now generates profits estimated at $700m ($442m) per year and, according to the polling firm GlobeSpan, has helped just over one in five Americans to find their life partner.
As the economy gets even worse, millions upon millions of Americans are going to become extremely desperate and will do things for money that they never dreamed that they would do.
That is a very frightening thing.
America is changing, and not for the better.
You better get ready for what is ahead, because Barack Obama is not going to save you.The unemployment crisis is worse than it was then, home values have fallen, the cost of health insurance is up, the cost of gas is way up, the number of Americans living in poverty has soared and the size of our national debt has absolutely exploded.
Is Obama a hypocrite or merely insouciant? Or is he an idiot?
According to news reports Obama’s White House meeting on Valentine’s day with China’s Vice President, Xi Jinping, provided an opportunity for Obama to raise “a sensitive human rights issue with the Chinese leader-in-waiting.”
The brave and forthright Obama didn’t let etiquette or decorum get in his way.
Afterwards, Obama declared that Washington would “continue to emphasize what we believe is the importance of realizing the aspirations and rights of all people.”
PUNCTUATING YET ANOTHER LIE
Washington is so concerned with human rights that it drops bombs on schools, hospitals, weddings and funerals, all in order to uphold the human rights of Muslim people.
You see, bombing liberates Muslim women from having to wear the burka and from male domination.
One hundred thousand, or one million, dead Iraqis, four million displaced Iraqis, a country with destroyed infrastructure, and entire cities, such as Fallujah, bombed and burnt with white phosphorus into cinders is the proper way to show concern for human rights.
Ditto for Afghanistan. And Libya.
In Pakistan, Yemen, and Somalia Washington’s drones bring human rights to the people.
Abu Ghraib, Guantanamo, and secret CIA prison sites are other places to which Washington brings human rights. Obama, who has the power to murder American citizens without due process of law, is too powerless to close Guantanamo Prison.
Instead of following Washington’s human rights lead, the evil Chinese invest in other countries, buy things from them, and sell them goods.
Has any foreign dignitary ever raised “a sensitive human rights issue” with Obama or his predecessor? How is the world so deranged that Washington can murder innocents for years on end and still profess to be the world’s defender of human rights?
How many people has China bombed, droned, and sanctioned into non-existence in the 21st century?
Will Syria and Iran be the next victims of Washington’s concern for human rights?
Nothing better illustrates the total unreality of life in the West than the fact that the entire Western world did not break out in riotous laughter over Obama’s expression of his human rights concern over China’s behavior.
Washington’s concern with human rights does not extend as far as airport security where little girls and grandmothers are sexually groped.
Antiwar activists have their homes invaded, their personal possessions carried off, and a grand jury is summoned to frame them up on some terrorist charge.
US soldier Bradley Manning is held for two years in violation of the US Constitution while the human rights government concocts fabricated charges to punish him for revealing a US war crime.
WikiLeaks’ Julian Assange is harassed endlessly with the goal of bringing him into the human rights clutches of Washington. Critics of Washington’s inhumane policies are monitored and spied upon.
Washington is the worst violator of human rights in our era, and Washington has only begun.
Who will liberate Americans from Washington’s clutches?Think about that for a minute. Washington is now in the second decade of murdering Muslim men, women, and children in six countries.
Barack Obama wants to disarm America. There simply is no other way to explain his reckless behavior. It came out that the Obama administration is considering plans to unilaterally slash the size of the U.S. nuclear arsenal by up to 80 percent.
TRAITOR HALFBREED HUSSEIN OBAMA
From a military standpoint, this is utter insanity. Early in his presidency, Barack Obamasigned a treaty with Russia that restricts both nations to a maximum of 1,550 deployed strategic nuclear warheads.
But now Obama wants to cut the size of the U.S. arsenal down to as low as 300, without requiring the Russians to do anything. In addition, we don’t even have a treaty with the Chinese, and we have no idea how many deployed nuclear warheads they have.
For all we know, it could be in the thousands. Unfortunately, very few people are speaking up about this. Most Americans just assume that we have such a massive nuclear arsenal that nobody would ever dare to mess with us. Well, that was true back in the 1980s, but that is not true today.
If Barack Obama does unilaterally slash the size of the U.S. nuclear arsenal by 80 percent, that would make another world war much more likely. If we are sitting there with far fewer nukes than Russia and China have, they will not fear us nearly as much.
But we should have all seen this coming. Back in 2009, Obama made a famous speech in Prague in which he pledged to work toward a world without nuclear weapons.
Well, it looks like he plans to start by getting rid of almost all of America’s nuclear weapons.
A few years ago, Obama demanded that the Pentagon conduct a “radical review” of the U.S. nuclear weapons program. When the results came back, Obamarejected them as being “too timid”.
Obama is not just intent on trimming the size of the U.S. nuclear arsenal.
The truth is that he wants to gut it.
Currently, the Pentagon is working on a new plan for the reduction of the size of the U.S. nuclear arsenal. The following is from a USA Today article put out about this plan….
AP, citing “a former U.S. official and a congressional official,” says the administration is debating at least three options to bring the U.S. stockpile down to somewhere between 1,100 and 300. The current treaty allows 1,550.
So what are the “three options” going to be?
The three options are detailed in an article in the Houston Chronicle….
No final decision has been made, but the administration is considering at least three options for lower total numbers of deployed strategic nuclear weapons cutting to: 1,000 to 1,100; 700 to 800, and 300 to 400, according to a former government official and a congressional staffer. Both spoke on condition of anonymity in order to reveal internal administration deliberations.
At this point, the plan has not been presented to Obama yet.
But needless to say, he will probably want the biggest cuts possible.
Unfortunately, the truth is that the U.S. nuclear arsenal has already been cut far too much. There is no way that a few hundred nuclear warheads can be an effective deterrent in the 21st century.
Retired Air Force Lt. General Thomas McInerney shared his opinion of this planwith the Washington Free Beacon….
“No sane military leader would condone 300 to 400 warheads for an effective nuclear deterrent strategy”
But Barack Obama is not a “sane military leader”. What Barack Obama wants to do is to unilaterally disarm America.
According to CNN, the size of the U.S. nuclear arsenal reached a peak of “more than 31,255 in 1967″.
The Obama administration has already taken us down to a very small fraction of that. If the Obama administration takes us down to a level of 300 deployed strategic nuclear warheads, we would basically be committing strategic suicide.
To get an idea of just how dramatically the size of the U.S. nuclear arsenal has declined over the years, just check out this chart.
Basically, thanks to Obama we could end up with less than 1 percent of the nuclear warheads that we had during the peak of the Cold War.
Less than one percent.
And if we gut our strategic nuclear arsenal, that will make it much, much more likely that someone will use nuclear weapons against us in the future.
The reason why no other nation has openly attacked the United States since World War II is because they all knew that if anyone attacked us we would nuke them into oblivion.
But if the U.S. only has 300 warheads, and if an enemy thinks that they can hit most of them in a first strike, the entire calculation changes.
Today, the world is becoming increasingly unstable. North Korea has nuclear weapons, Iran is developing a nuclear program and even Venezuela is rumored to be interested in acquiring nukes. It would be a really bad idea to unilaterally disarm right now.
But the most significant threats are Russia and China. If World War III were to erupt, it is quite possible that the U.S. could find itself facing a very formidable Russian/Chinese alliance.
The only advantage that the U.S. would have over such an alliance would be in strategic weaponry. The combined conventional forces of Russia and China would vastly outnumber our own.
So why are we disarming?
And there is another factor to consider as well. As I have written about previously, the START Treaty did absolutely nothing to address the overwhelming superiority that Russia has in tactical nuclear weapons….
The treaty completely ignores the very serious imbalance that exists between the U.S. and Russia when is comes to tactical nuclear weapons. Today it is estimated that the Russians have approximately 10,000 tactical nuclear warheads while the U.S. only has a few hundred. These tactical nuclear warheads can be delivered by cruise missiles, long-range artillery or aircraft. The treaty does nothing to change those numbers. This would put the United States at a very serious strategic disadvantage.
Why in the world would we allow ourselves to be put in such an unfair position?
Are we fools?
As Russia’s economic fortunes have turned around, they have been busy spending money on updating and modernizing their strategic nuclear forces.
The United States has not been doing the same thing.
While the U.S. is busy chasing goat herders around in Afghanistan, Russia is busy preparing for the next war.
During his speech to formally launch his campaign to reclaim the Russian presidency, Vladimir Putin made the following statement….
“In the next five to 10 years we must take our armed forces to a qualitatively new level. Of course, this will require big spending …. but we must do this if we want to defend the dignity of our country”
Russia is preparing for World War III and so is China. They both recognize that someday there is a very good chance that they will have to take on the United States.
Meanwhile, the Obama administration is gutting the U.S. strategic nuclear arsenal and is acting like there is no chance that there will ever be a world war ever again.
Sadly, most Americans have bought into the propaganda that the threat of world war is permanently gone and that we don’t even need nukes anymore.
Most people out there simply will not understand why I am making such a big fuss in this article.
But someday all of this will likely become very clear.
Someday America will likely bitterly regret the decisions that the Obama administration is now making.
When Russian and Chinese missiles are raining down on American cities it will be too late to do something about it then.
